My veterinarian told me I would need to get my cat to exercise, since he is getting heavier every time I get to bring my pet to him. I think he is really plump and adorable and would not want him to change at all; but if I want him to be with me for a long time then I would need to start taking good care of them. I would not want to compromise his health more than anything.
I decided to slowly cut down the food and most especially the treats I frequently feed him. I would also need to get him to move about the house, so I purchased a climbing cat gym to get my pat interested to engage in active physical play. Hopefully the next time I go to the veterinarian my cat would all be healthy and fit already. That way I can have that assurance at the back of my head that he will be just fine.
