brass pet urns

Some people have their eccentricities. In our family, there are many. My grandmother’s sister was one of the eccentrics I recognized since I was a child. Whenever we would visit her, she would show us first her brass pet urns. I was a curious child so I wanted to play with them. She did not allow me to of course. She gave me her weird scolding look.

She is no longer alive. I do not know where the brass pet urns are now. I remember some members of the family were asking each other back then if anyone wanted the brass pet urns. I think my relatives found it awkward to keep the urns since it contained the ashes of a pet cat. But they all agreed that brass was worth keeping. They finally decided to give it to my grand aunt’s nurse. She took care of her and her cats anyway, she would decide what to do with the urns.
