pet photo memorials

Our dog Funny was the light of our house. As you can guess from his name, Funny definitely made us laugh with his antics and tricks. He was also a very loving dog; he would always come up to us to cuddle after playing. So when he died we were all heartbroken; I think I cried for three days straight after.

We all agreed to bring him to a pet cemetery so he could be buried there. We also decided on having a marker for his grave, so we got one of those pet photo memorials available at a pet store near the cemetery. We brought along our favorite photo of him to be laminated on the memorial, plus his “drawing”–that sheet of bond paper that bore his paw prints after he walked in on us while we were painting. It came out to be a beautiful memorial, and we were definitely happy to put it in his grave.
