Western Saddles

Western saddles are used for western riding and commonly used on working horses. These are also called “cowboy saddles”, usually seen by movie viewers, rodeo fans, and those who have gone on trail rides. The design is derived from the early Spanish horse trainers and cattle handlers. If you are going on rough terrain, you should have this type of saddle.
This is designed to be comfortable when ridden in for many hours. Its purpose is to be a working tool for a cowboy who spends all day on horseback. For a person just starting out, it gives the impression of providing a more secure seat. However, this could be very misleading; the horn is not a handle for the rider to hang on to, and it forces the rider onto a rigid position. Nevertheless, it is still one of the most popular saddles used, and a custom western saddle is becoming a popular thing for some riders for style and comfort.
