Horseback riding skill can be enhanced or developed with proper training and constant practice. To some, this is more than a sport – it’s a passion. Below are the typical equestrian equipment used in English horseback riding:

• English saddle – for more flexibility in the horse’s movement; this is typically flexible and comfortable.
• English bridles – headgear worn by the horse w/c gives the rider the opportunity to control them; consist of three pieces: a headstall, the reins, and the bit in the horse’s mouth.
• Stirrups – typically made of iron, stainless steel, or another kind of metal; to easily allow the rider to mount the horse, while providing as much safety as possible during dismount.
