When the movie Nemo opened, kids suddenly became interested in seeing a real life clownfish. In fact, a clown fish is already being referred to as “Nemo” in pet stores. Some parents who do not want to give their kids a dog or a cat as a pet have resorted to buying fishes instead. For these parents, it would be good for them to know that aquariums no longer cost an arm and a leg. There are small, portable aquarium kits that have practically everything but the fish.
An aquarium kit can vary in size, shape and cost. The price will depend on what comes with the kit. A kit can include a bio wheel, a water filter and special lights. There is also “plants” inside the aquarium, the toys and other props that can be placed inside. All these along with the size of the aquarium add up to determine the total cost.
