Like dogs and cats, ferrets need to rest from play and other activities. Prepare a comfortable place for your pet that he can call his own. He will appreciate a nice and warm ferret bed he can claim as his own. Train your ferret to settle in his sleeping quarters when he needs to rest.
Avoid moving the bed around too much. Let it sit in a particular corner so that your pet would easily find it whenever he wants to lie down. Place several of his toys in or beside the bed so that he can amuse himself before he finally falls asleep.
