All dogs love to chew. They chew to exercise as well as to combat boredom. To prevent your dog from making mince meat out of your shoes or furniture get them chewing toys. The best for me are rawhide bones. Not only will it serve as a toy but it will also clean their teeth.

There are two things you should avoid when choosing chew toys for dogs. First, don’t get one in the shape of shoes or slippers. Otherwise, your dog can’t tell the difference between chew toys and the real thing. Second, don’t get chew toys that have a whistle inside. Your dog, might chew thru the toy and choke on the whistle. That’s why I prefer rawhide bones. It’s simple, cheap and stops your dog from having bad breath.
