Some dog owners enter their pets to agility shows. This event showcases a dog’s skills in agility, jumping, or team relay. It also shows how good the relationship between dog and owners, as the dog has to go through the course without a leash and food or toys as incentives. A good dog owner makes sure that the dog has the best care it can have, as well as the proper equipment for training.
A typical obstacle course for dog agility training has to have the usual equipment, like the dog agility see saw, hurdles, and dog walks. Some can have A-frames, tire jumps and tunnels. Weave poles can also be included. The owner lays them on a yard or lawn to mimic a typical agility show track, and starts to train his dog until it is ready.
