Dog agility equipment will include hurdles, tire jumps, tunnels and stakes. Dog tunnels or chutes are tubes from 10 to 20 feet long and about 2 feet in diameter through which the dog runs. It is supposed to be flexible so that it can be configures in a variety of curves. It is usually made of flexible vinyl and wire. Some are made of fabric and remain collapsed; the dog enters into the open end and pushes his way towards the end.

When buying dog agility equipment it is important to choose a durable material as it will be exposed to the elements. For tunnels, polyester fabric is strong and more abrasion resistant than other fabrics. Furthermore, it will not suffer from UV degradation. It is also important that the tunnel you buy is easy to assemble and take down. Choose one that is lightweight to make transport easy and compact for trouble free storage.
