To own a pooch is a privilege that should be given only to people who can spend time and take care of their pets’ needs. Dog training entails lots of hard work but the benefit you’ll get is extremely rewarding. Once you get your dog, you should start training him or her otherwise you dog will train you. You should teach your dog obedience training, crate training, potty training, dog leash training, and if you and your dog is ready for special skills training.

Obedience training should start the moment you get him or her. Always remember it is easier to train a small puppy than a full size adult. No biting or chewing should be on the top of your list in obedience training. Crate training is done so you can leave your dog at home alone without fear of having your place trashed. Dog leash training is done so you’ll have more control of your dog. Special skills are there so you can impress other people.
