dog behavior problems

Last year, we imported a mastiff from abroad to mate with ours. It was her first trip on an airplane. When we got her we immediately noticed some behavioral problems. I think she got stressed from the trip as well as the new environment. I searched online on ways to solve her dog behavior problems.

I think she got separation anxiety issues from her previous owners. When I got her in the airport, she didn’t want to get out of her crate. It took us about 2 hours before we were able to get her out. Her previous owners lived in a farm. She grew up on a farm with other animals her whole life. Imagine being in her shoes, being placed on a crate, then a plane and shipped to another country. It must be a traumatic experience for her. It took us about 8 months to solve most of her dog behavior problems.
