Build a good relationship with your dog by playing with him regularly. This will ensure that your pet sees humans as a source of enjoyment as well as build a bond of trust between you which is important for effective training in the future. Buy different types of dog toys as these are an essential part of playing games with your dog.

For puppies, give them plush dog toys and chew toys that specifically target to ease the discomfort of teething. The younger the puppy, the more pliable the chew toy should be. You can even get a toy that can be frozen first so as to have a mild numbing effect on his gums. A plush dog toy will also provide comfort to a young pup.
