The health and strength of your dog greatly depends on the kind of food they take. Their weight is one of the major consideration in terms planning what, how much and when to feed them. Canine diets are characterized as very rich in protein. Therefore, even if dogs are generally carnivorous, they should be given enough amounts of vegetables and fish.

Scrap foods alone cannot be considered good canine diets. A balanced diet can give any dog strong teeth, clear eyes as well as strong bones and teeth. This can also lead to a very pleasant natural behavior that any pet owner would appreciate. There is also an ancient diet called BARF (bones and raw food) diet which is known to increase canines longevity and flexibility.
