In 2000, there was a hit Arnold Schwarzenegger film called “The 6th Day”. The movie was set for sometime in the future. The movie was all about human cloning. In the movie, Arnold’s pet died and his wife wanted him to have their pet cloned in the mall. In the movie, stem cells for pets were used to clone pets.

Stem cells for pets can be used to treat pet ailments. One of the most common ailments for older pets like dogs is arthritis. Stem cells can be harvested and with the use of technology implanted into ailing pet’s bloodstream. This can grow new tissue and replace what was damaged. This is why stem cell for humans is a controversial topic.
