Ever since I can remember we always had dogs. My dad had three German Shepherds even before I was born. y the time I was around five, we had Jason, another German Shepherd. Throughout my adolescent years we had two more Shepherds and a bulldog. We loved each of our dogs and we mourned each of them when we they died. Back then there was no dog health insurance to help cover your cost.
When I got married and started my own family, I decided to buy a Bulldog and get dog health insurance for her. Bulldogs are a tricky breed. They are susceptible to sudden death syndrome. You’ll be playing with them one minute and the next minute they are dead. They are prone to heat stroke and can choke on their saliva. Also when they give birth, it is almost sure it will be cesarean. They are also expensive costing thousands of dollars. That is why I decided to protect her with dog insurance.
