Fleas are probably a dog’s worst nightmare. These parasites suck on the blood of mammals, most often dogs. They can easily move through the hairs and are small in size. They are quite difficult to kill even by squeezing or scratching.

Fleas need to suck on a lot of blood in order to reproduce and lay eggs. Approximately 20 eggs are laid per batch. Hence, the earlier you get rid of fleas, the better. It would help if you regularly bathe your dog with flea shampoo. This kind of shampoo may contain chemicals that are effective flea busters. However, in extreme flea cases, it is best to consult a veterinarian for the proper medication.
