Better Teaching Tools for Dogs

A harness is a valuable teaching tool for dogs. It is actually recommended by many dog trainers and animal behaviorists. They believe that a harness is more advantageous than a collar in basic and humane ways. Dog harnesses distribute force evenly throughout a dog’s body. Owners won’t be yanking on a dog’s head like with a collar.

Pulling a harness results to the dog feeling his entire center of gravity being moved instead. This is a kinder way of applying force to a dog if force is needed. Too, when you use a collar, a dog may resist and plant his feet firmly on the ground. With a harness, a dog won’t have much choice than to move along with it.
