How to Choose A Large Dog Crate

Transporting big dogs can be a hassle. When a dog is sick, sometimes they prefer not to be held. If you try to carry them, they could very well bite you and send you to the hospital instead. To avoid mishaps like these, it’s best to purchase a large dog crate big enough to accommodate your dog and keep them safe and comfortable.
When purchasing dog crates, you have to consider the dog’s size. It is important that the dog can stand up and still have enough space to move around and stretch. Also, the dog’s head must not hit the top of the crate when it sits. Getting the dog to use the crate may take a while, and some people use baits such as a dog or a favorite chew toy to bring them inside the crate until the dog retrieves those items by themselves. Let the dog get accustomed to using it always and never use it for punishment.
