Keeping Your Pet Dog Warm

Dog coats can be made with material that range from simple thin fabrics to cozy fleece textile. Your choice will depend on the temperature at the moment. The dog’s size and health is also a factor to consider. A small dog is more prone to be affected by very cold temperature. This is especially true for dogs that are more advanced in age.
Aging pets often develop arthritis. Just like humans they experience painful joints in cold, wet weather. Consider providing them dog clothes that will offer additional warmth. You cannot just depend on a warm blanket because a blanket can easily slip off the body. While you are at it, make sure that the material used in the coat or sweater is one that will not cause irritation.
