Some pets will associate his carrier with travel and fun. This is so if he had a previous enjoyable experience traveling in his carrier. You will not have a problem getting him to go inside the carrier.

If it is the first time that your pet in being transported in a carrier care should be taken that it is a pleasant experience for him. Behavioral techniques will help your pet like the carrier, making those necessary outdoor trips easy on everyone. The key is to gradually introduce the pet to the carrier, allowing it to discover what he can do in it. Enticing him with food is another way to encourage him to take to his carrier.
