Fulfill a Cat’s Exercise Requirements

Taking care of a cat’s exercise requirements is so much easier than that of other pets. If you have a dog, you will need to walk him everyday or play with him in the yard for him to get the right amount of exercise. A caged bird will have to be taught flapping exercises which are not the easiest thing in the world. An outdoor cat will not even need an exercise routine with you. If you see him climbing trees and running after birds, you know that he is getting sufficient exercise.

Indoor cats will be a little bit challenging. There are cat toys designed to imitate natural prey such as feathers on a stick, balls and fluffy toys. Get your cat a few of these. You can also set up a cat climbing tree. He can spend hours playing and climbing up and down the different levels. Get him one with a built-in condo where he can rest or maybe take a nap when he gets tired.
