Block out some of the natural odor from your cat’s litter box as well as give your pet a little privacy. Use a litter box cover over your cat’s litter box. Make sure that the cover you buy will fit over the box which should not be too small or too large for your pet in the first place.

A litter box cover is very useful as it hides the litter box out of sight. This would be pretty handy especially if you have guests coming and you have no time to clean up your cat’s messes. Some cat owners use a tent-like hood as litter box cover while others prefer to cut out a large plastic storage container instead.
