Cat toilet training

Pampered cats don’t know that they are cats. If they are not cats, they should be able to use a toilet bowl the way humans do. Of course you want to do away with cat litter. They are unsightly; they occupy space and are odorous in a negative way. Cat toilet training can hold several advantages for the cat owner. The biggest advantage of having your cat use the toilet is that it eliminates the use of cat litter.
You start by introducing him to a cardboard litter box. Once your cat is trained to use a cardboard box, start moving the box around the room, towards the bathroom. Do it gradually. When you reach the bathroom, prepare to put the box on top of the toilet. Your cat will see it there and jump up to the box, which is now sitting on top of the toilet. Leave it there for a while. The next step is to cut a hole which you can make bigger and bigger later on. In just a matter of time your cat will be trained to use the toilet. The next step though is to teach him to flush.
