Pesticide-free foods are the better choice for our parrots. Corn, sweet potatoes, broccoli, brussels sprouts, bananas and water melon are just examples of organic parrot food that are available in our supermarket shelves. Providing these foods to our pets may seem like such a hassle. However, if we buy our own organic food, then we can extend it a little to provide for our beloved pets.

Some of the risks associated with non-organic bird food include:

~intestinal complications
~seizures and tremors
~trouble with reproduction
~decreased immune systems
~can even cause sudden death

To avoid these complications, take the extra effort to feed your bird a blend of wholesome pesticide-free ingredients. They are available in an ever growing number of healthy pet stores all over the country.
